One of the finest landscape gardens in the world

2003: England ... for four weeks in mid March 2003. We visited four regions:

Week 1: Stonehenge, Windsor Castle .... ( London to Croyde Bay only): See Stone Henge .... and enter the word 'stone henge' in the search box and Windsor Castle
Week 1: Cornwall and Devon = Lower England:

... We stayed here free of cost for a week.

Week 2: Ross on Wye = Mid England = Somerset on the Wales border:
See Ross-on-wye and Flanesford Priory (Flanesford Priory is an historical building mentioned in the Doomsday Book and was established in 1346 by Sir Richard Talbot, Lord of Goodrich Castle. Flanesford Priory is we where we stayed for a week .... See the Links pages with Goodrich Castle we saw for half a day We also saw the Ancient City of Bath and the Roman Baths
We also saw Stourhead Garden for a day visit. We had British Heritage Pass which meant we could walk into any old building or garden free of cost. It would otherwise cost may $$ to walk into each site.

Week 3: Lancaster = Upper England but before Scotland ..... borderlands, see the Lakes District:
- Lakes District plus the little town of Ambleside
